Product Information An anticorrosive coating, single pack, which can be used at low temperature to -5¡æ, modified chlorinated rubber with aluminium, high built type. Excellent adhesion performance, good anticorrosive properties and seawater immersion resistance. As sealer coat, compatible with a broad range of antifouling paints. Suitable for cargo holds and with controlled system for cathodic protection.

Recommended Purpose Complete anticorrosive bottom system. For use at Repairs, Maintenances in and out, to protect steel structures and offshore navigation. KYLACRIC, KYLAFINO, KYLALUX finishing products overcoated on, provides excellent maintenance coating conditions.

Application Data Mixing Ratio: Single pack product which should be stirred well before application by stirring machine.
Thinner:  Not recommended. The material is ready for use, under special conditions use X101 Thinner, max 5% by volume.
Painting Method: Airless spraying is our recommendation, Brush, Spray follows. Tip range 0.48mm-0.53mm (21 thou), blowing pressure shouldn’t less than 141kg / cm2 (2000psi). Maybe required to add thinner. Use the proper equipments. Actual safety measures and precautions are very important from the selected method and environment work. Coating Specification As application, environment and design factors can vary significantly, due care should be exercised in the selection, verification of performance and use of the coating. A general guideline of the coating specification is to be maintained for above water uses with same Kylacric, Kylafino, modified acrylic finishing. Under water uses, should be overcoated always with selected Antifoulings. Consult Kylin for any further information.

Surface Preparation All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination. High pressure or pressure with fresh water wash should be applied prior to the treatment or of the application. Steel products with mill scale: shot blasting or grit blasting should meet the requirements of Sa2 grade in Sweden derusting standard at least. Steel products without mill scale: to be grinded by dynamic tools to meet the requirements of St3 grade in Sweden derusting standard. Steel products painted with plant primer: use slight grit blasting or dynamic tools to carry out secondary surface preparation to meet the requirements of St3 grade in Sweden
